5th Wall saw Gen Z before Gen Z arrived.

Behind it lies more than architecture: thinking physical environments, a digital backbone, and a formidable ProTech, AI-driven ecosystem holding it all together.
They gave me a name in China. When Qumbet (5th Wall's Chinese brand) won the tender for the Shanghai Culture Kiosks, they called me Memedi — and handed me a title I still carry: the First Crab Eater (第一个吃螃蟹的人). The one willing to taste what no one else dared to touch.

I am a multidisciplinary designer based in Basel, Switzerland, working across public space design, industrial design, brand identity, modular systems, and phygital experience development.
My background combines Urban Planning from METU and Industrial Product Design from ITU. Over the past 23 years, I have developed more than 100 urban furniture and public-space product designs, many of which became real products used in urban environments.
